About Richard Wise
An Ohio native, Richard Wise is a nature photographer based in Lady Lake, Florida. He has been in the photographic business, in one form or other, for over fifty years. He was a U.S. Navy Photographer, trained in Pensacola, Florida, and served in the Pacific, Viet Nam, and Washington, D.C.
He covered many political events in the Washington D.C. area, including the inauguration of former president, Richard M. Nixon. He worked as a photographic technician for NASA in Greenbelt, Maryland, and has since worked at numerous studios, producing images for advertising, modeling portfolios, weddings, and portraits.

His photographic vision reflects his deep love and respect for the world of nature. He exercises strict control over the “shooting” and “printing” processes to ensure the archival integrity of his finished images. Richard’s precise compositions capture a moment-in-time, which he hopes will bring both pleasure, and an increased appreciation of nature to those who view his work…
